Charles Du Mond, PhD has considerable industry expertise in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and CRO sectors, supporting study design, data management, clinical pharmacokinetics, statistical analysis, regulatory strategy and submissions, product development planning, and data safety monitoring. He began his career at Syntex Research working in HIV/AIDS, antiviral therapies, and infectious disease, later joining Liposome Technology (SEQUUS) before co‑founding the CRO Pacific Research Associates, which was subsequently acquired by ICON Clinical Research. He remained with ICON for 13 years, supporting programs in oncology, ophthalmology, analgesia, cardiology, nephrology, immunology, and gastroenterology. Prior to joining InClin, he served as Vice President of Biometrics at Relypsa. Dr. Du Mond holds an MS and PhD in Statistics from the University of Iowa and a BA in English and Mathematics/Computer Science from Central College in Pella, Iowa.
